ZX-6R battery CCA questions

I've got a 2002 Ninja ZX-6R with stage 2 jets, a performance exhaust, and a downsized gear ratio. The battery was 120 CCA, but now it won't hold up, it starts rough, RPMs jump when braking. Should I move to 180 CCA, or is there another issue at play?

Jumping to a higher CCA battery (like 180) could help with starting, but the rough starts and RPM fluctuations under braking sound more like a fueling, charging system , or carb tuning issue rather than just battery capacity, always worth checking your charging voltage, carb sync and jetting before assuming its only the battery.
