2000 ZX-6R stalling below 2k RPM ignition issue?

Hey folks, I have a 2000 ZX-6R with 40,000 miles on it. It ran okay until it started losing power at low speeds. Then, it just wouldn't start anymore, the battery was dead. I had the carbs cleaned, put in new fluids and plugs. Now, it starts up, but it dies if the RPMs are under 2000. Above that, it runs just fine. Do you think this could be a problem with the ignition? Any ideas or has anyone else had this happen?

Maybe the idle circuit is still clogged? Have you tried adjusting the idle screw or checking for vacuum leaks? Glad it runs above 2K though, that sounds ok to me

It sounds more like a fueling or vacuum issue than ignition, most people blame spark when it's really clogged pilot jets, vacuum leaks, or a bad idle circuit. Ignition's rarely the culprit at low RPM

Take another look at the pilot jets and idle circuit or thn check around the intake boots for vacuum leaks too
