Looking to disable ABS on my bike

I'm thinking about disabling the ABS on my bike for track riding. I realize it's not exactly a simple process and could trigger some warning lights. Has anyone out there tried this with aftermarket modules or any other techniques? What are the advantages and disadvantages you've encountered? I'd really appreciate any tips

What model year is your ZX-6R, and what's your experience level on the track? Removing the entire hydraulic unit is the only proper way to do it on most new models.
