Oil pressure light stuck on bad pump?

My 2007 ZZR600 tipped over in the garage. Now the oil pressure light stays on when I start it. I changed the oil, tried burping it through the filter — barely any oil came out. It's ticking a little (always had a slight tick though). Could this be a bad oil pump? Is this a big job or something I can tackle myself? Would appreciate any advice from those who've dealt with this.

no idea how hard it fell, but maybe the oil pickup screen is disloged or clogged somehow? As for diy, I wouldn't call it overly complicated, I think, but it's not quite beginner friendly.

Could be the pump lost prime during the tip or it's on its way out and doesn't help that ZZR motors are picky when it comes to oil pressure, try pull the pan and check the pickup screen for dirt while you're at it might just save you a teardown

Try loosening the oil filter slightly and running the engine long enough to see if oil starts flowing steadily, then tighten it back up. If that doesn't work, it could be the pump, but fingers crossed it's just trapped air.
